How Roofy works
From drone flight to finished roof plan in just four steps
Fly the drone
20 to 100 drone images of the roof (DJI, Autel, etc.). Orbit at 20–30m with 70% overlap, plus 2–3 straight-down nadir shots.
Upload images
Upload in browser. Roofy processes the images with OpenDroneMap into an orthomosaic (top-down view of your roof). Processing takes 3-30 minutes depending on image count.
Draw roof surfaces
In the canvas, draw the roof surfaces on the orthomosaic. Snapping, undo/redo, and distance measurement lines help you work precisely.
Download roof plan
Roofy automatically classifies ridge, hip, eaves and verge edges and generates a PDF report and a DXF export with all dimensions. Ready for the quote.
